By The Way

This past week has been thrilling with the 420 holiday on the calendar. Thrilling only because I watch people in legal states having a blast. There's nothing going on here in TN. but I'm sure there are many wishes for parties that should have been. Thus another reason to move to WA. state. True meaning of 420.

Medical Benefits of Medical Marijuana

It's now more important than ever for states to legalize medical marijuana (MMJ). An amendment passed by the Senate has made MMJ legal for vets with PTSD but only in states where MMJ is legal. Therefore it's critical the last 26 states get on board to help ALL veterans. It's the least we can do for all their service. Vets get MMJ

This coming trip will be my first ride on an airplane and to be perfectly honest I'm scared to death. 
I'm going to purchase a video camera and record the whole thing. I really hope I don't "spazz" Out" but if I do....you'll be the first to see it.  

3 Main Goals of This Trip

1. Get to Longview, WA.

2. Have as much fun as possible  

3. Not go to jail in the process

If we can follow these two rules (#2 and #3) We may actually get there.

But until then we have to wait patiently for the 1st payment to get here. Then we'll know what schedule to take. We have two-ways of doing this. The short plan: Hefty check--and we leave within two-three weeks. The long plan: a small check--and we save for several months and leave in October or November. It's getting closer to the day we know about the check. I can't wait !!!

Why is it.....

 
people still think that cannabis gives children brain damage?  I want to know.....who's volunteering their children for this study? What horseshit! Or hogwash, for those of you that don't like profanity.  Seriously though, why are people still thinking this today?  Its like a whole generation or two of these people are still believing the old 'Nixon files', that said marijuana kills brain cells. Which in fact, that has now been proven totally opposite. Marijuana regrows brain cells

As for Tennessee....pertaining to legalization we are far behind all the other states. These other states are voting to make cannabis medically legal or full-blown legal.  Meanwhile, were still twiddling-our-thumbs over CBD oil. (the non psychoactive ingredient in hemp). CBD oil treats and cures many things. Including seizures in children.  It's legal here in Tennessee but there's nowhere to buy it unless you cross state lines and bring some back. Which is a felony. So basically were left with nothing.

As far as the trip goes; it's all about the planning. This trip is going to be a big move and its going to cost a-bit-of cash.  It will also take some planning. We may have to save some money for a few months. Depending on how much money I get back from my disability back pay. We may leave next month or we may leave in October, don't know but I do know..... that wishes are just realities without blueprints. Ponder that a moment.

Getting Started

Hello Out There, 

My name is Cecilia. This is my first entry into the blog world. It's about; my close friend Deano and I, starting our Cannabis Refugee Trip from Tennessee To Washington State. (the only state where you have to write  the word 'state' afterwards). 

     

I just won my disability case this week, after 7-1/2 years. So now we start saving and preparing to move forward.

By-the-way; Cannabis is illegal here in Tennessee, where in-breeders and redneck folk are running rampant. I was born and raised here but DAMN what a fucked up state it has turned out to be. (for me and all cannabis lovers alike). At least we have CBD oil for a very few patients. Tennessee legalizes CBD oil. 

Medical cannabis has been turned down several times here. Which leaves people like me and my friend Deano, out-in-the-cold and left to be "Pill Prisoners" to big pharma.

We gotta save but "where are the boxes? Lets start packing now".
