Medical Chemicals

I want to talk about pharmaceutical side effects today and ask the question…”Why are the side effects of some medications worse than the illnesses their prescribed for”?

For example: Zoloft (Sertraline) Used to treat depression along with other mental disorders. The basic side effects are regular in nature like, nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and loss of appetite etc.  Other effects, that you are urged to report immediately...  are basically the same as, the symptoms  the medicine is supposed to treat, only WORSE. (See above link)

My next question is…”Why are we taking these medical chemicals, when a good  cannabis sativa works just fine”?

Sativa benefits include; treating psychological problems, like depression and PTSD. Sativas encourage activity and are more energizing, uplifting and thought provoking. It produces a positive cerebral effect while relieving headaches, migraines, and  pain. It also relaxes muscles.

Indicas on the other hand are very calming and soothing. They are good for night-use, to help one sleep. Indicas also treat chronic pain, anxiety and muscle spasms. All of these without harmful side effects.

Sativa or indica? These two decisions seem quite obvious. No harmful side effects from either one. It’s a no-brainer right? Not if you live in a state that does not have legal “Medical Marijuana”.  Purchasing or growing cannabis in an illegal state can get you fined, jail time or even prison. Medical marijuana vs man made chemicals. It’s a cause worth fighting for.

Military and Marijuana

Something the military men and women have longed for is now in the works after a bill passed the senate on Thursday May 19, 2016 (finally).

This will allow VA. physicians to recommend cannabis to vets as a treatment option but only in states where medical marijuana is legal.   Senate vote on MMJ for vets.   

The Marijuana Revolution is a "one-step" at a time, type of venture.  It's happening but at a snails pace. I say "slow and steady" gets the job done.

I wonder sometimes....

I wonder sometimes, why I keep forgetting things. Then I remember it's the way your body is supposed to act as you get older.  This idea is like, something or someone is forcing us to believe that.  

We've all heard it for years; their just senile or their in their second childhood now.  Like their trying to get us to accept it and to be that way.  

I actually feel 25 years old in my head and thoughts but feel like a 25 year old in the body of a 54 year old woman who aches like (I imagine) a 70 year old women would ache. Tell me why do I live in all this "age confusion"?  I always imagined a fellow would feel the age they are. 

Maybe all this is just me. Maybe I have a strange mental disorder. Maybe I'm just *high* and having a "Good Buzz".

Does anyone else feel one age and be another?
